Best commuter towns and villages

For buyers who are searching for a new home and need to factor in working in London a few days a week, the age-old dilemma is still around location. Recently the village of Long Buckby in West Northamptonshire has featured in articles in the national property press as one of the top commutable spots to live in the country.

Long Buckby certainly has plenty to shout about, with shops, restaurants, pubs, a GP practice, and dentist, and even its own railway station with trains to London Euston. The village sits on the River Nene in the heart of rolling Northamptonshire countryside, close to some of the top private schools in the country. Close to the M1 motorway, it is well-connected to the rest of the UK too.

The following properties are all for sale in the village itself and within a 10-minute drive of Long Buckby.
