Best Bonfire Night Events and Fireworks Displays across the Michael Graham Region

Written by Lisa Proffitt  |  17th October 2025

Whether you’re looking for a fireworks and bonfire display near you, or you’re planning to travel a bit further afield this November, we have some fabulous events in our round-up. Many of the events are more than just fireworks, and promise funfairs, street food, and outdoor bars. Here are some of the most dazzling, family-friendly displays set to take place across our region this year:

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

This fireworks night just over the Bucks/Northants border is famous for a spectacular fireworks display and dramatic bonfire sculpture – previously years have featured a space-rocket, a hawk, a dragon, and a giant rising sun. There’s also a fun fair, street food, and a well-stocked bar. The fireworks are looked after by the same team that fires London’s New Year’s Eve display, and with the lake beneath the fireworks at Blackpit, you get the double impact of the displays reflecting on the water. Ticket prices are not sky high relative to the calibre of the event – gates open at 3pm with last entry at 6.30pm and tickets cost £19.50 per adult, £5 for children aged 5-17 years and under 5s go free. Booking in advance is essential.

Brackley’s firework display is sponsored by Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, and this free event is always spectacular. Held at Magdalen College School in the heart of Brackley town centre, there is a funfair, a range of food and drink options and local community stalls. A highlight for motor racing fans, the F1 Team’s replica W16 show car is on display, with team members there to answer questions and raise funds for Mind, their Official Team Charity Partner. The fireworks begin at 7pm and last for roughly 15 minutes. A record 8,000 people attended last year, so arrive early to bag a spot on the field.
