Michael Graham launch Private Buyers Club
This week, we are excited to launch the Private Buyers Club, a private property portal for our buyers and sellers of properties in the £1 million-plus category. In addition to our discreet listing service, this new portal on our website allows qualified buyers exclusive access to £1 million-homes not available on the open market.
Megan Wright, Head of Marketing at Michael Graham, has overseen the project:
“Given the challenges in the current market, we know that sellers are reluctant to put their homes on the open market and risk them sitting there for months, or worse not selling at all. The Private Buyers Club offers the most discreet sellers a physical place for their property to sit, giving their home visibility, but only to pre-vetted buyers. This allows them to test the temperature of the market at their selling price without fear of their home leaving a digital footprint.”
Charlie Hill, Operations Director at Michael Graham believes that this service also has huge benefits for potential buyers: “We know that over 20% of our applicants across the home counties and central London are actively searching for properties valued at more than £1 million. To qualify for the Private Buyers Club, all potential buyers are thoroughly checked to make sure they can financially proceed, and once approved, they receive a registration link which allows them access to the platform. Of course, agents have always shared under the counter properties, handpicking those that could interest a potential buyer, but as part of the Private Buyers Club, buyers can view and consider far more potential options.”
Once a potential seller has been accepted on to the platform, the inhouse marketing team tailor the listing with the seller, agreeing the level of detail they want to share. As a result, a listing can be live in a matter of hours.
