Key responsibilities of a Lettings Instructions Manager:
The main purpose of the role is to win new listings and gain new rental instructions to drive lettings market share within the Northamptonshire area.
You will have a pro-active and entrepreneurial approach to winning new business always searching for the next opportunity. You will build a strong rapport with our Estate Agency and Financial Service teams to increase referral activity and you will build and maintain a comprehensive client and investor database. You will also have excellent industry knowledge alongside a strong knowledge of the geographical area.
In this Lettings Instructions Manager role, day to day you can expect:
- Identifying and maximising business opportunities
- Carrying out Lettings Valuations and Listings
- Booking property viewings and registering applicants
- Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone and face to face
- Working towards and achieving personal and branch targets
- Giving directive to the required branches and educating them on lettings processes
- Negotiating and agreeing tenancies
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Building strong relationships with local property owners
- Adhere to the Property Ombudsmen Code of Practice and stay informed with relevant industry legislation
Skills and experience required:
- Lettings experience -preferably already a Lister, Valuer or a Senior Lettings Negotiator looking for progression
- Able to generate new business in a target driven environment
- Outstanding customer care / customer service experience
- Competently prioritise work load and deadlines essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate (MS Office, internet, email systems)
- A Full UK driving licence
