Kelshall is a small village and civil parish in the North Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire. It lies 3 miles south-west of Royston. The village lies on top of a broad chalk ridge of high ground. It has a village hall which was built in 1895 as the village school. The parish church of St Faith's is on the edge of the village. In the nearby village of Therfield there is the popular Fox and Duck public house which is a multiple winner of Hertfordshire Food and Drink Awards. In nearby Royston there is a full range of shops and services and the mainline station. The village is situated in between the A505 and the A10, which come together in nearby Royston. The station of Ashwell and Morden is just 3.4 miles away, an under 10 minutes’ drive. The trains to London Kings Cross take around 46 minutes.
