Other amenities include a lower school, a butcher, a post office/village store, an Indian restaurant, a garage and petrol station, a hairdresser and two public houses. The Clifton All Saints Academy offers schooling for children up to year 5 and The Samuel Whitbread Academy is in the nearby village of Shefford.
