Property description

The house has over 2,250 sq. ft. of accommodation over two floors. The main house entrance has double oak arched doors leading to a porch with original Quarry tiles and a door to a hall with access to the kitchen and the two main reception rooms. The doctors office, waiting room and dispensary had their own entrance at the other end of the property. These rooms are now used as an additional reception room, a study and a utility room, and can also be accessed via a rear hall which has built-in storage, a cloakroom and doors to the garden. The first floor has four bedrooms and a bathroom. The Garden wraps around the property and there is a detached double garage with power and light and there is driveway parking for up to six cars.
Kitchen and Reception Rooms
The dining room has an open fireplace with a brick surround and solid wooden flooring. The sitting room has a feature open fire with stone surround, a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and timbers, and double height feature windows to the front and French doors to the rear hall. The third reception room has an exposed ceiling beam, built-in cupboards and shelving, and a connecting door to the study which still has independent access to the drive.
First Floor
A solid wood staircase leads to the first floor landing which has access to the two principal bedrooms and the bathroom which has a bath with shower over, a WC and a wash basin. An inner landing has a range of built in storage cupboards and windows overlooking the garden, and leads to the other two bedrooms. The four bedrooms all have wash basins and there are built-in cupboards in three of the bedrooms.
Gardens
The gardens wrap around the house. The rear garden is well established with shrubs and mature trees including pear, apple, plum and walnut trees. There are two ponds and a central lawn, a patio and pathways leading through gates to the front of the property.
